The Presidential


The crown jewel of Portugal’s railway, the Presidential Train has hosted Kings, Presidents, Heads of State and Popes for over a century. Built in 1890 and after being magnificently restored in 2010 is now back on track for a full day in a journey through the most incredible landscapes of Douro river and the timeless celebration of luxury gastronomy, with invited chefs every season. This experience also offers the unique opportunity to visit Quinta do Vesuvio and discover in person the ancient art of making wines and taste them directly from the casks. Couldn’t be more proud of experiencing something like this in my own country.
